Q: If an overseas manufacturer of food has registered in the GACC and has obtained a registration number, the original registration of the domestic importer for filing, and now we need to change another domestic importer to import, does the overseas manufacturer of food need to re-register?

A: According to the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Registration and Administration of Overseas Manufacturers of Imported Food (Order No. 248 of the GACC), overseas manufacturers of imported foods shall obtain registration with the GACC. For changing domestic importer to import, there is no need to re-apply for registration of overseas manufacturer of food.
