In order to strengthen the registration management of special foods and standardize the on-site inspection of special food registration, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) developed and released the solicit comments on the Work Procedures for Registration Site Inspection of Special Food (Draft for Comment).

On June 3, the SAMR issued a notice publicly soliciting the opinions on the List of Supplements for Auxiliary Ingredients for the Product of Filing Health Food (I). SAMR has issued a list of health food raw materials for comments. It is proposed 5 raw materials including coenzyme Q10, Melatonin, Fish oil, Spirulina, and Sporoderm-broken of Ganoderma Lucidum spores powder. This is the first time of public consultation for new raw materials after the publication and implementation of the Catalogue of Health Food Raw Materials (I).
